Troy Public Library Open on Saturdays Beginning January 7

(Troy, MI.) – December 27, 2011 - The Troy Public Library will open on Saturdays beginning January 7 from 10am – 5pm and closed on Fridays beginning January 6.  Monday through Thursday hours remain 10am-9pm and Sunday hours 1-5pm.  Due to the upcoming holidays, the Library is scheduled to be closed Fridays, December 23 and 30, and Mondays, December 26 and January 2.

The Friends of the Troy Public Library Book Shop and Friends Store will be open on Saturdays from 10am – 1pm (to replace their original Friday hours) and Sundays from 1 – 4pm.  All proceeds from the Friends Shops help to supplement Troy Public Library programs.
